About the role: Join our influential Global Specialty Insurance (GSI) division—a cornerstone of Munich Re’s global strategy—as a Product Analyst for the GSI GLOW Platform. In this pivotal role, you will support the management and enhancement of GLOW, a mission‑critical process orchestration platform that underpins the efficient lifecycle management of delegated authorities across up to nine legal entities within GSI. This platform is essential to maintaining Munich Re’s leadership in specialty insurance by enabling streamlined workflows and robust compliance controls.
As a Product Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Platform Owner, Product Manager, and key stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, drive strategic platform enhancements, and ensure seamless integration with Munich Re’s enterprise systems. Your work will directly influence the operational excellence and agility of GSI’s business units, empowering them to meet the complex and rapidly evolving demands of global specialty markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the role of product analyst within a global agile project
- Help shape the platform by setting strategy and roadmap for GLOW alongside the Product Owner and Product Manager
- Work closely with business users and business analysts to understand requirements and communicate these to the outsourced IT team
- Sign off on delivered development items from IT
- Carry out diligent user acceptance testing on behalf of the business users to ensure high‑quality deliverables
- Act as a conduit between the Business and IT
- Present new functionality through demonstrations to sponsors and users
- Work alongside other product managers to create a single platform for delegated business
- Train colleagues in new functionality in bespoke ways such as presentations, 1:1, and group training sessions
- Support the production system by answering queries, investigating issues, and raising bugs to IT
- Support the Quality Assurance team with queries pertaining to deliverables
- Support the development and implementation of solutions to user queries, issues or bugs
- Act as a point of contact when the product manager/owner is not available
- Promote use of the system to business users
