One of our clients is looking for a National Account Manager to look after some key accounts within the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the main point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, developing and building relationships within each account with the main objective to retain and extend each contract and identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Accountable for P&L performance of accounts, client volume spend, revenue and profitability.
- Develop and deliver robust account plans to deliver account strategies that grow their client volume and fee revenue through the development and execution of category supply chain solutions across Food, Non-Food, Retail & Distribution.
- Manage channel pipeline to ensure continual growth and deploy value-added activity across client base to ensure client satisfaction and work in conjunction with client base to deliver client’s objectives.
- Build strong and productive relationships across all clients over and above the main point of contact, ensuring relationship mapping across all levels of client’s business.
- Support any new business presentations, in conjunction with their Business Development team to support growth.
- Represent them at channel specific Expo’s and industry events to develop the brand proposition and awareness.
Candidate profile:
This is a role for an exceptional and proven Account Manager that can lead and develop the client proposition within the company, a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to deliver Account.
Skills required:
- Established Account Manager with a minimum of 5 years Account Management experience across multiple Accounts, with a proven track record of success in retention and growth.
- Experience of Account Management within the Food Service sector would be preferable.
- Procurement experience or experience of delivering sustainable procurement strategies into client accounts preferable.
- Commercially astute with experience of managing P&L’s across a portfolio of Accounts.
- Experienced in developing Account Plans and building and developing Client relationships.
- Experienced in implementing and driving growth and retention activity.
- Evidence of adapting and implementing client value propositions.
