One of our Influencer Marketing Agency clients are looking for a Campaign Director to join their expanding team. The âInfluencer Campaigns Directorâ is the driving force behind client retention, performance quality, and Campaign Manager (CM) development at our client. You will lead a pod of Campaign Managers, sharpen their strategic abilities, and ensure they deliver consistently excellent outcomes. Youâll own churn, upsell opportunities, relationship health, and the overall performance of the accounts under your remit.
When standards slip, you step in. When a CM needs training, you train them. When a client needs clarity, you provide it. This is a hands-on leadership role central to growth, stability, and reputation - and demands both urgency and long-term thinking. You wonât be managing tasks, youâll be owning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development
- Coach and develop Campaign Managers, raising their performance in strategy, communication, and client management.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and create clear development plans for each AM.
- Build a culture of accountability, high standards, and proactive problem-solving.
- Step in with hands-on support when CMs need guidance on campaign strategy, creator sourcing, performance analysis, content execution, or client communication.
- Raise the bar on strategy, communication and execution across the campaign manager pod.
- Client Success, Retention & Relationship Health
- Own churn, retention, client satisfaction scores, and overall relationship quality within your pod.
- Identify early signs of risk â performance dips, communication gaps, unclear expectations - and act immediately.
- Ensure clients have clear strategic roadmaps, quarterly objectives, and transparent expectations.
- Support CMs in high-stakes client conversations, QBRs, renewals, and escalations.
- Strategic Oversight & Performance Management
- Oversee the strategic direction of all accounts under your remit, ensuring strategies are tight, ambitious, and grounded in performance data.
- Ensure forecasts are accurate, achievable, and aligned with internal revenue targets.
- Identify performance opportunities and direct CMs to act on them - from creator recruitment to creative testing to affiliate activation.
- Build and refine strategic frameworks, templates, and playbooks that raise consistency and execution quality across all accounts.
- Commercial Accountability
- Drive upsell and expansion revenue across your pod, supporting CMs in spotting and pitching growth opportunities.
- Ensure accounts are profitable and delivered efficiently within scope.
- Support the leadership team on new business opportunities where senior strategic direction is needed.
- Escalation & Problem-Solving
- Serve as the senior escalation point for client and operational issues.
- Resolve problems quickly, protect client relationships, and stabilise the team when challenges arise.
- Bring clarity, calm, and strategic direction when accounts hit friction points.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with ops, partnerships, creator acquisition, and leadership to ensure seamless delivery and aligned priorities.
- Refine internal processes to help Campaign Managers operate more efficiently and at a higher standard.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, creator trends, and evolving best practices, ensuring the team does the same.
- Innovation and Efficiency
- Own the campaign delivery function and its efficiency - leverage and innovate new ways of increasing margin, driving down cost, increasing delivery speed and implementing new systems and technology.
- Work closely and maintain relationships with our software vendors to ensure seamless collaboration.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- You lower churn and strengthen client relationships.
- You lead our account managers in accelerating their growth and delivering consistently high performance.
- You play a leading part in increasing our revenue through client upsells and cross-sells, quarter over quarter.
- You take responsibility quickly, leading to faster issue resolution and fewer escalations.
- You bring clarity, calm and structure in a high pace, high growth environment.
- You bring clearer strategic direction and higher consistency across all accounts.
- Improved margins on campaign delivery.
Youâll Thrive in This Role IfâŚ
- Youâre ready for the next stage of your career. You now want to move into a role that doesnât just matter - itâs the key driver of growth.

- You have 8+ years experience in running influencer/performance marketing campaigns, ideally across brand side and agency side.
- You love ownership and accountability: you take responsibility for outcomes, not tasks, and you operate with a âthe buck stops with meâ mindset.
- You raise the bar for the people around you: coaching, training, and developing Account Managers energises you, and you genuinely enjoy helping others unlock their potential.
- Youâre obsessed with client results: you care about performance, efficiency, retention, and doing whatever it takes to help brands win.
- You think strategically but act quickly: you can zoom out to the big picture, then zoom in and execute with precision.
- You solve problems before they become problems: you anticipate issues, step in early, and bring clarity and confidence to every situation.
- You thrive in fast-moving environments: you enjoy momentum, urgency, and the responsibility that comes with leading critical accounts.
Salary Range & Benefits:
- Additional bonus of up to 10% of salary (unlocked on performance).
- Real impact - you will be joining as a key senior hire, playing a key role in shaping the growth of one of the UKâs fastest growing influencer agencies as we pursue growth into international markets and consolidate our growing UK presence.

This role is not for you if:
- You want to stay hands off.
- Youâre uncomfortable with taking ownership and being accountable for retention, margin and commercial results.
- You see people management as admin rather than a core part of your role.
- You want a slow-paced environment and low expectations of performance.
