Are you passionate about making a difference for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Hamilton School is seeking a highly organised, proactive and committed SEND Manager to play a key role in supporting the delivery of effective SEND provision across our school.

Working closely with the SENCO and wider school team, you will coordinate a wide range of SEND processes, including annual reviews, Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) administration, external agency liaison, alternative provision coordination, student support and SEND compliance activities.

You will help ensure that students with SEND receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

About The Role

• Lead and coordinate key SEND administrative and operational processes.
• Manage annual reviews and support EHCP-related procedures.
• Maintain accurate SEND records, data and provision mapping systems.
• Liaise with parents, carers, local authorities and external agencies.
• Monitor SEND student attendance, progress and intervention outcomes.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement of SEND provision.
• Provide guidance and training support to staff on SEND processes and inclusion.
• Line manage up to four Teaching Assistants.

About You

• Experience within SEND, education or a related administrative environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and statutory deadlines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to inclusion and supporting students with additional needs.
• The ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families and external professionals.
• Confidence using ICT systems, databases and provision mapping tools.
