Our client in Scarborough, a manufacturer of Cardboard Products, is hiring for Quality Technician.
Location: Scarborough (Finch Avenue East & Markham Rd)
Shift:
- Day: 6 AM to 2 PM
- Afternoon: 2 PM to 10 PM
Pay rate: $21.01/hr; $0.50 afternoon shift premium
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out sampling rounds in dedicated areas.
- Follow sample preparation and testing procedures.
- Examine samples and detect anomalies.
- Document the results and observations in dedicated computer system.
- Organize work effectively.
- Comply with internal procedures and safety standards.
- Required repetitive lifting of 35 lbs.
Qualification:
- Rigour, autonomy and an eye for detail.
- Experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment (ideally paper/cardboard or similar).
