Leading cosmetics manufacturer in Scarborough is looking for a Line Cleaner to start ASAP!
Full-time position, 40hrs/week.
Working location: Scarborough, ON (Sheppard & Brimley)
Night Shift: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday night to Friday morning, 40 hours per week
Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies
- Use the proper cleaning agents and sanitise under GMP guidelines and department SOPs
- Assemble and disassemble equipment
- Preparing for cleaning and sanitises for processing within the health and safety guidelines and department SOP
- Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
- Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs
- Maintain clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop
- Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements
- Maintain a clean orderly work area according to GMP guidelines
Job Qualifications:
- Secondary School or equivalent
- Minimum of one year in machine operation and plant sanitisation
- Able to do heavy lifting up to 50lbs
- Good mechanical knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of small tools and light assembly
- A clean criminal background is required
