Inventory & Data Entry Associate in Scarborough

Our client, a medical device manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable ContractInventory & Data Entry Associate to start as soon as possible in Scarborough for a 3-month period.The successful candidate will assist with inventory management, data entry, and system updates to ensure accurate and up-to-date information inthe Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP systems.

Location: Scarborough, ON (McNicoll & Markham)

Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Job type: 3 months contract

Pay rate: $22 – 25/hr based on experience

Start date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performdata entrytasks, including creation and updates of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and item records.
  • Support theinventory cycle count processby conducting physical counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Update WMSand ERP systems with current inventory levels and transactional data.
  • Assist with themaintenance and validation of BOMs, ensuring accuracy in quantities, item structure, and descriptions.
  • Physically verify and label inventory on-site to maintain alignment between system records and actual stock.
  • Identify and report inventory variances, missing items, or issues for resolution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support ad-hoc data clean-up or documentation needs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all tasks completed.
  • Flexibility within the role as daily duties will change on an β€˜as needed basis’

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working withBills of Materials (BOMs), including creation, updates and maintenance of BOMs and item records.
  • Prior experience withinventory management,data entry, or working in awarehouse or manufacturing environmentis preferred.
  • Familiarity withERP systems(e.g., Mysis) andWMS platformsis an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in bothoffice and warehouse environments, including walking and standing during physical inventory tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer use.
