Stand-up comedian and voiceover artist, Tom Ward, boasts a diverse range of both characterful reads and serious narration. He possesses a warm, calm, and reassuring voice, showcasing a skill for subtle shifts in tone and attitude. His voiceover portfolio encompasses a variety of projects, from television and radio adverts to documentaries, web-videos and film trailers. Tom’s passion for his work extends to independent and art-based projects, reflecting his love for what he does.

With over a decade of experience in the voice industry, comedian Tom Ward has been the narrator of “Abandoned Engineering” on UKTV – now in its impressive 13th series. He’s also the narrator for the latest series of “Ice Road Truckers” for Channel 5 (2023/4), along with multiple other shows for Channel 5, Sky Sports, and LAD Bible. Tom has also lent his voice to advertisements for notable brands like Marvel and Dave.

While his primary focus is stand-up comedy, where he incorporates various voices on stage, Tom has made appearances on “Live at The Apollo,” the upcoming series of QI, and has supported Joe Lycett and Jack Whitehall on their tours. In the previous year, he successfully embarked on his inaugural solo UK tour.

Tom’s true passion lies in narration, demonstrated in his work on Abandoned Engineering. However, he is eager to expand into more advertising projects and is happy to record quick custom-demos.

Operating from his own home studio, Tom recorded some “Abandoned Engineering” episodes during Covid lockdowns. While based near London, he is open to traveling to a London studio for voice projects. Recently performing at Live at The Apollo, and debuting his fourth solo show, “Anthem,” at the Edinburgh Festival, Tom began a 15-date UK tour of the show in November 2023.
