The Information Manager will support the development and implementation of digital and information management capability for the SMR Project and its supply chain. You will ensure data and project information are well-structured, accessible, and compliant with industry standards. The SMR Project supply chain will range from small businesses through to large multinational organisations.
Your work will support the organisation's strategic goal to effectively use data for decision making, ensuring the value of data and information can be maximised to support our mission.
Reporting to the Information Management Lead, you will work collaboratively with project teams and suppliers to support information management and decision-making. Ideally, you will bring experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and adherence to ISO 19650. You will ensure that all project data is efficiently stored and shared, improving digital collaboration tools and supporting data integration across project phases.
You will be part of establishing a major programme, contributing to delivery of a First of a Kind UK SMR Project, aiming to minimise environmental impact while delivering cost-effective energy capacity. This is a fast-paced and evolving environment, and you should be comfortable with uncertainty and change.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Project Information Management Framework ensuring data consistency, structure, accessibility, and alignment with industry best practices.
- Ensure project data is structured, stored, and shared through appropriate digital systems, including Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, regulatory, construction, and environmental teams to standardise project documentation and promote ISO 19650 and BIM principles across the supply chain.
- Define and align information requirements across Organisational (OIR), Project (PIR), Asset (AIR), and Exchange (EIR) levels to ensure a consistent information model.
- Develop and manage document control workflows, including versioning, metadata structures, approvals, and access control, to maintain data integrity across the lifecycle.
- Support onboarding of internal teams and supply chain partners by defining digital readiness needs and enabling consistent adoption of project information practices from the outset.
- Oversee the implementation of digital tools and platforms to manage data and project information, ensuring compliance with data governance, cybersecurity, and information security policies.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and workshops to promote awareness of project information standards and tools.
- Support the delivery and refinement of an Information Management Toolkit, including templates, guidance, and reference materials, enabling practical execution of the information strategy on live projects.
- Apply DAMA-DMBOK principles to support scalable data governance practices, including data quality, reference and master data management, and metadata stewardship.
- Facilitate continuous improvement by gathering feedback from users and stakeholders and evolving the information management approach to meet emerging needs.
- Embed information management into core programme and project delivery functions to sustain long-term capability within internal teams and supply chain organisations.
- Promote a culture of digital collaboration and knowledge sharing across disciplines and delivery partners.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- Experience managing project information for complex engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of document control, CDEs and ISO 19650.
- Familiarity with core DAMA-DMBOK disciplines, such as data governance, metadata and reference data management.
- Proficiency in digital platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360, Bentley ProjectWise, or equivalent PLM tools.
- Strong coordination and organisational skills to support onboarding, deployment, and capability uplift.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support multidisciplinary teams.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving programme environment.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative, multi-party setting.
Nice to have knowledge, skills and experience:
- Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., IAEA, ONR, NRC).
- Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental data frameworks.
- Experience supporting supply chain partners with digital onboarding and compliance alignment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and data protection as they relate to information lifecycle management.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certification in BIM, ISO 19650, or project information management frameworks (preferred).
- Certification or training in DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), or related data governance qualifications (desirable).
