On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Senior Digital Project Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based remote with occasional travel required to the Swindon office.We're seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high profile data and reporting initiative within UKRI. Working across Data, Finance, Digital and Business teams, you'll establish and manage delivery plans, coordinate stakeholders, support requirements definition and ensure the successful production of strategic reporting outputs used by senior decision makers.This is a hands on delivery role requiring strong organisational skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and proven experience delivering within complex data environments.As a Senior Digital Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:* Develop and manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.* Coordinate delivery across Data, Finance, Digital and business teams to ensure successful outcomes.* Manage programme governance, including steering group reporting, decision logs, actions, risks, issues and dependencies.* Monitor progress against agreed milestones and success measures, resolving blockers and escalating risks where required.* Build effective relationships with business and technical stakeholders to support communication, prioritisation and delivery.* Manage project controls, including schedules, resource plans, risks, assumptions and financial monitoring.* Produce progress reports, delivery dashboards and status updates for senior stakeholders.* Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and governance forums to drive delivery decisions and maintain momentum.* Drive resolution of cross team dependencies and delivery challenges to maintain progress towards delivery targets.* Ensure outputs are successfully transitioned into business as usual operations and remain aligned to strategic objectives.Essential:* Proven experience delivering projects within a data, analytics, reporting or business intelligence environment.* Previous experience working within a data delivery team and managing end to end delivery of data focused initiatives.* Strong project management experience, including ownership of delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, governance and delivery roadmaps.* Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, executive stakeholders and technical teams.* Experience gathering, refining and managing requirements in partnership with Business Analysts, technical teams and business stakeholders.* Strong organisational skills with the ability to create structure, delivery plans and priorities in complex environments.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Experience using Jira and Confluence.Desirable:* Public sector experience.* Experience delivering finance, grants, reporting or analytics projects.* Experience producing or supporting executive reporting for executive stakeholders.* Experience within data transformation, data migration, reporting or business intelligence programmes.Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.Disability ConfidentAs a Disability Confident employer, UKRI encourage applications from disabled and neurodivergent candidates.
