On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a number of Records Controllers for a 12 month contract based in York.

We at Network Rail are dedicated to becoming one of Britain's best employers and believe this starts with placing the candidate at the heart of everything we do!As a Records Controller, your main responsibilities will be to:* Review, organise and process large volumes of physical and digital records, ensuring information is accurately captured, managed and made accessible to users.* Support records improvement programmes through appraisal, digitisation, cataloguing, metadata enhancement and quality assurance activities across a range of information assets and systems.* Work collaboratively with workstream leads to improve access to critical business records, support compliance requirements and deliver project milestones.

Essential:* The ability to accurately create, organise, maintain, and retrieve records.* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.* Excellent attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with document control procedures.

Desirable:* Archivist, Records Management, or Information Management qualification.
