About the Role
Great British Energy is looking for a Commercial Manager to join our onshore development department. This role will play a key part in contributing to projects, objectives, and wider organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for renewable energy projects from pre-FID through construction.
- Working with the Project and Investment teams, support investment cases, FID packs, and project approvals with robust commercial input.
- Ensure adherence to internal commercial governance, delegation of authority, and assurance requirements.
- Lead Commercial sections of the Project Gate reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, or project controls.
- Background in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, or major capital projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, Law, or similar.
- Professional membership (e.g. RICS, CIPS, CIMA, CIArb, CICES).
