Founded in Yorkshire and brewing since 2005, Saltaire Brewery has built a strong reputation for producing internationally award-winning beers, known for their quality, consistency, and character. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Brewer to join our brewing team. This role is responsible for ensuring our beers are brewed, packaged, and maintained to the highest quality standards across all stages of production. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of brewery operations, including brewing, fermentation management, packaging, quality control, and stock management. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive, positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wort production using our 70HL Moeschle brewhouse system
  • Monitoring and managing fermentation processes
  • Conducting quality control checks throughout production
  • Maintaining accurate brewing, packaging, and production records
  • Cleaning and sanitising brewery and packaging equipment in line with hygiene standards
  • Packaging beer into cask and keg formats
  • Assisting with stock control and general brewery operations
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous commercial brewing and packaging experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy loads
  • A full UK driving licence

The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:

  • Experience using the BREWW brewery management system
  • Forklift licence
  • IBD qualifications
