The Role

Great British Chefs is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Partnerships Manager to join our ever-growing team. This is a new business / business development role so a keen eye for prospecting is essential. The ideal candidate must have experience in media sales, partnerships sales or a similar new business role alongside a strong interest in food, cooking and the UK’s restaurant scene. You will be responsible for kick off conversations with new prospective partners for sales, bringing a creative and innovative approach to new revenue generation. As part of the commercial team, you will work collaboratively with all departments to source leads, set up conversations and open doors to exciting new business.

You could be speaking to anyone from Moth canned cocktails to Rathfinny English sparkling wine. Other brands include: Heinz, Encona, Unilever, Ooni, San Pellegrino, Maison Mirabeau and Hovis. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who lives and breathes food and drink to become part of the team for the UK’s leading premium food platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential prospects and starting conversations with new partners for sales, membership, competitions and more.
  • Building strong relationships with brands and agencies within key verticals.
  • Lining up monthly membership competitions, perks and incentives.

Candidate Requirements:

Must-haves

  • Some previous experience in a commercial role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • A good knowledge and passion for all things food, drink, chefs and restaurants.
  • A knack for asking great questions to uncover what a prospect is looking for and how we can help them.
  • Highly organised go-getter and process orientated, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with generating self-sourced opportunities and experienced in performing outreach tasks via LinkedIn, Instagram, email and on the phone.
  • A team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks.
