About Great Bedwyn C of E School
Our school is set in the thriving village of Great Bedwyn, surrounded by farmland and sitting on the outskirts of Savernake Forest. Learning together and establishing trusting relationships lie at the heart of everything we do and we are extremely proud of the many and varied achievements of all our children.
We were rated Outstanding by Ofsted in March 2024, demonstrating the excellence running through every aspect of our school.
Our ethos and values are expressed through the motto “Together may we give our children - roots to grow and wings to fly”.
At Great Bedwyn we are proud of our strong Christian values and teach the children to respect and care for each other and those around them in the community. Our only school rule is to Be Kind.
As part of Excalibur Academies Trust, we benefit from shared expertise and strong governance, whilst maintaining our own unique identity, values and deep community focus.
