We are looking for experienced MHE Trainers to join our Great Bear team in Worksop, who will play a key role in delivering training to MHE operators to ensure safe working practices and a continual reduction in MHE accidents/incidents.

We have 2 positions available that are both permanent, full-time positions working Monday to Friday on the below shifts:

  • Rotating shift pattern between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00
  • Nights between 22:00 - 06:00

What you'll be doing:

  • Champion a positive Health & Safety culture on site, keeping safe working practices at the heart of daily operations.
  • Deliver high-quality MHE training, inductions and refresher sessions for permanent and agency colleagues.
  • Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and ensure colleagues are confident using the correct processes.
  • Maintain accurate training records and support the development of a site skills matrix to track operator competence.
  • Complete workplace assessments to ensure MHE operators remain safe, capable and compliant.
  • Support risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and hazard controls to reduce risk across MHE activities.
  • Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents, identifying learnings and helping prevent repeat occurrences.
  • Work closely with operational management to cover training requirements across shifts and provide accurate KPI and monthly reporting.
