Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) provides distribution services to FMCG clients. Customer centric service focus is delivered through a site-level empowered culture.

We are now recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers on a Full time and permanent position for Great Bear in Harworth.

Shift: 5 in 7 Days - 06:00am-08:00am start window.

Salary: £15.16 per hour.

Overtime: x 1.5 of the hourly rate - Effective once weekly contracted hours have been worked.

  • Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
  • Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
  • Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
  • Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
  • Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
  • Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
  • Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver - 6 months is essential for this position.
  • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
  • Excellent attention to detail
