We are currently seeking a reliable and professional 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to join our transport operation who will be responsible for delivering fine wines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, always ensuring a high standard of customer service while adhering to company policies and legal compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and working independently. Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm, 40 hours per week, £27,894.06 per annum.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Complete around 25 to 30 multi-drop deliveries in line with planned routes and schedules to pubs, restaurants and private customers.
  • Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and transported safely.
  • Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all relevant documentation.
  • Always provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all road traffic laws and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delays or issues.

Qualifications - What We're Looking For:

  • Full Clean UK driving licence (Category B) and the ability to handle a 3.5 tonne van.
  • Previous van driving / multi drop delivery experience preferred, although full training will be provided.
  • Good knowledge of local road networks.
  • Ability to lift and handle goods with care.
  • As this is a fine wine operation, the successful candidate must be able to handle alcohol.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
