We are currently seeking a Human Resources Advisor providing key support to our HR Operations function during a busy and exciting period. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on Employee Relations (ER).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient HR advice, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers across the full employee lifecycle
  • Manage a caseload of Employee Relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and investigations
  • Support and guide managers through formal processes, including preparing documentation and attending hearings
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
  • Liaise with Occupational Health on long-term absence and referrals, including home visits where required
  • Support organisational change activity, including restructures, TUPE, and site projects
  • Process employee lifecycle changes accurately (e.g. T&Cs, approvals to recruit)
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure employee data is accurate and up to date
  • Use HR data to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Partner with L&D and managers to support development needs
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and engagement initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong Employee Relations experience, with confidence managing cases end-to-end
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience in providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data to inform decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust
  • Proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and HR systems
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards) preferred, but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
