Are you an experienced HGV Driver (minimum 12 months) looking for a role that goes far beyond what you would normally see? We are recruiting for drivers to join our specialist events logistics team, supporting high-profile Formula 1 events across Europe, International Flyaways available, combined with UK tramping and general haulage outside of the F1 season. This is an exciting, fast-paced role for drivers who enjoy travel, teamwork, hands-on work, and being part of world-class event operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Formula 1 Season (Trackside Operations)
    • You will be responsible for transporting and delivering high-value cargo across the UK and Europe to support the full Formula 1 calendar. This requires the ability to work away from home for extended periods of up to 14 consecutive weeks at a time.
    • During each event you will:
      • Drive HGV vehicles across UK and European locations carrying specialist event equipment
      • Ensure all vehicles and trailers are safe, compliant, and roadworthy
      • Assist with loading/unloading and securing all cargo to the highest standard
  • Trackside Setup & Build
    • Take part in the complete construction of race base, hospitality units and tyre fitting
    • Mark out build areas, lay and level grids, and install structural components
    • Carry out cleaning, maintenance, and interior setup of furniture and décor
  • Event-Time Duties
    • Support hospitality operations including customer service, cleaning and kitchen assistance, and front-of-house tasks
    • Complete maintenance tasks to uphold exceptionally high standards
    • Work flexibly to meet changing event schedules and customer needs
  • Pack Down & Departure
    • Dismantle units and structures to prepare all equipment for transport
    • Assist with lifting, loading and securing pods, equipment, and trailers
    • Maintain trucks to an immaculate condition—inside and out—throughout the year

Outside the Formula One Season

  • You will carry out UK HGV tramping and general haulage duties across our Transport business, including:
    • Deliveries and collections to RDCs
    • Manual handling and store deliveries
    • Drop & swaps, trunking, and priority customer loads across multiple sectors

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 HGV licence – (12 months minimum experience)
  • Flexibility to work away for up to 14 consecutive weeks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Great work ethic with high standards of professionalism, proactive, independent thinking and a good attention to detail
  • Willingness to take on varied tasks including construction, hospitality, and maintenance; additional skills outside of driving are beneficial but not essential e.g. Trades (Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical), Engineering, Building, Rigging, Forklift/Telehandler, Tyre Fitting etc.
  • Experience of driving in Europe and driving LHD units is advantageous but not essential

We have permanent and fixed term contract opportunities available.

Rates of Pay & Allowances

  • Event Crew £125 day rate on shift, £100 day rate on rest day
  • Daily rates of pay will be payable when working on day or night shift during the Event Season. A daily allowance of £47 a day (night out, meal and overseas tax-free allowance) will be paid whilst on Event for working and rest days in Europe and Worldwide, where applicable.
  • A daily allowance of £40 a day (night out and meal tax-free allowance) will be paid whilst undertaking Event work in the UK (with the exception of Silverstone).
  • HGV General Haulage Hourly rate of pay in accordance with General Haulage rate card (dependent on shift and base depot location). This is reviewed annually.
  • Retention Bonus available upon continuous service with Eventor.
