As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for the delivery of driving education and training, in relation to individual portfolios of training and safe schemes of work, within classroom settings and in the operational environment in accordance with Stobart policies and procedures.
To deliver DVSA recognised training in accordance with JAUPT compliance guidelines and to the expected Stobart quality standard.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
Key Duties of a Driver Trainer
- Travel across multiple sites to deliver training as and when required.
- Flexibility around start and finish times in line with business needs.
- Contribute to improvements within the team and training programs.
- Undertake relevant training qualifications and personal development.
- To maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Ensure all training equipment is well maintained.
- Learner driver instruction “L” Plate training, if required.
- To carry out other duties as required at the request of the business.
- Full clean driving licence LGV C+E
- Good people engagement skills, self-driven, positive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training or working towards.
- Recognised Train the Trainer qualification.
- Able to collaborate with others
- Able to manage own time and able to prioritise workload
- In Cab and Classroom training experience.
- IT Literate including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Capability to deliver all types of training and assessment to the highest professional standard, complete and submitted the appropriate documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
