We are now looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our Team at Great Bear Mansfield on a Full time and permanent position.
Job Description Shift: The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and we have a variety of shift patterns available working any 5 from 7 days (between 02:00 - 07:00 starts).
Salary: £15.36 per hour.
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
- Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
- Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
- Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
- Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
- Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver - 1 year is essential for this position.
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
- Excellent attention to detail
