Supporting our e-fulfilment operation for a well-known recognised brand. The site will handle the movement of customer-specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
As a Technical Operations Support Manager, you will contribute to the success of the site by supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring all required technical equipment is in place and running as it should. You will liaise with various Contractors and Customers, to deliver service plans and maintain critical inventory on site.
Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.
Key duties of a Technical Operations Support Manager:
- Manage a team of Technical Operations Support staff, who play a role in smooth day to day running of the technical function in the warehouse.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the Critical inventory.
- Assist the picking and packing team by providing engineering solutions to assist in operational capacity.
- Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
- Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.
- Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.
- Recruit, train and retain a team of staff that are committed to quality in line with the customers' expectations as a premium brand.
- A demonstrable track record in managing high volume, high service driven warehouse operations.
- Experienced in automated or mechanical sortation.
- Mechanical background.
- Technically minded with extensive IT skills.
