As an Operations Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the day to day site operation through general site and compliance activities. Offering outstanding and organised support in a friendly environment and providing a helpful service.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with gatehouse staff in regards to inbound/outbound loads and allocating bays/trailers.
  • Ensuring inbound/outbound paperwork is dealt with correctly.
  • Responsible for generating, organising and storing pick notes efficiently.
  • Ensuring all outbound orders have paperwork generated and that this is given to the driver upon collection.
  • Communicating customer requirements for orders when appropriate.
  • Consistently communicating any issues to Warehouse manager/shift supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Assisting warehouse staff with IT issues and escalating when needed.
  • Producing a thorough, detailed handover to the following shift highlighting potential issues, reminders and current state of play.
  • Participating as an active member of the operations team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus.
  • Additional IT related tasks when needed.
