Mhe Trainer

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced MHE Trainer to join our Great Bear team in Worksop. You will play a key role in delivering training to MHE operators to ensure safe working practices and a continual reduction in MHE accidents/incidents.

The role is permanent, full time. Working Monday to Friday on the following shifts:

• Rotating shift pattern between 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
• Nights between 22:00 – 06:00

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive Health & Safety culture on site, keeping safe working practices at the heart of daily operations.
• Deliver high-quality MHE training, inductions and refresher sessions for permanent and agency colleagues.
• Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and ensure colleagues are confident using the correct processes.
• Process training in other areas of the warehouse, including but not limited to bays, pick etc.
• Maintain accurate training records and support the development of a site skills matrix to track operator competence.
• Complete workplace assessments to ensure MHE operators remain safe, capable and compliant.
• Support risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and hazard controls to reduce risk across MHE activities.
• Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents, identifying learnings and helping prevent repeat occurrences.
• Work closely with operational management to cover training requirements across shifts and provide accurate KPI and monthly reporting.

Qualifications

Experience in MHE training and health & safety compliance. Knowledge of fleet management systems and warehouse operations. Strong communication and organisational skills.
