An exciting opportunity has become available for a Stock & Administration Supervisor to join our team in Lutterworth on a full time, permanent basis!
As a Stock & Administration Supervisor you will ensure that all administrative duties are done accurately and in a timely fashion so that discrepancies are identified early enough to be dealt with efficiently.
You will work as part of a team to support the delivery of an efficient and cost effective warehousing solution to accommodate the requirements of the operation and customer base.
Working hours
Monday - Friday,8:15am- 17:15pm.
- Key Duties of a Stock & Administration Supervisor
- Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all Stock & Admin activities.
- To supervise all stock activities at the Lutterworthwarehouse.
- Dealing with missing pallets, stock queries, damages etc.
- Checking Pre-advices from customers and fixing errors, omissions etc.
- Creating and receipting all warehouse purchase orders.
- Liaisingwith external customers on stock checks, visits where appropriate.
- Responsibility for the RF gun storage cabinet.
- To keep and maintain records of the Warehouse Administration staff performance.
- To assist in the organisation of training and development for the Warehouse Administration staff, including on-the-job coaching, and to evaluate training effectiveness in terms of improved individual and team performance and the maximum flexibility of team members.
- To champion the sites continuous improvement program within the warehouse function.
- To offer regular feedback, formal and informal, on team and individual performance, includingbehavioural issues and highlighting good performance and areas for further development.
- To participate as an active member of the management team, and to offer suggestions for solvingproblems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus and team working.
- Good working knowledge of WMS systems.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
- Able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of on-site systems.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to efficiently lead a team, delegate, supervise functions and keep staff motivated.
- Excellent time management skills and a knack to problem solve.
- Strong interpersonal, conciliation skills and the capacity to network with suppliers and customers.
- Good knowledge of stock control requirements in a 3PL environment.
