Our Hygiene Operatives are the heart of our business, and you will be joining a great team. We are looking for a Hygiene Operative on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with days from 07:00 to 19:00, offering a salary of £27,697.
This is a fast-paced role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks:
- Ensure that all Company and Customer hygiene standards are maintained and monitored in line with the company's systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the areas of the warehouse.
- Work inside the current Hygiene schedule to ensure that all automated areas are clear of debris at the required interval.
- Provide cleaning support to other areas within the warehouse such as Loading Area, Picking Area, and Goods Inwards Area.
- Ensure that clear communication between shifts on hygiene issues is relayed to co-workers and the duty management team.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored in the correct place, and any missing or defective equipment is removed and reported to the duty management team.
- Ensure that all risk assessments and safe systems of work are adhered to at all times.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working in a chilled/cold warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and willing to learn and progress.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
