We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our HR operational team at our site in Markham Vale, supporting multiple sites across the UK. The role is truly a generalist position, partnering with senior stakeholders and taking full HR responsibility for your sites, managing various projects and initiatives. This is a multi-site role, so regular travel is expected.

Ideal candidates will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, juggling changing priorities with a positive, can-do attitude. Experience in Logistics or FMCG sectors is advantageous.

The key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner include:

  • Business partnering with General Managers and senior stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
  • Managing casework related to grievances, performance, disciplinary, and absence issues, including coaching stakeholders
  • Delivering the Group-wide HR strategy
  • Managing employee relations issues, particularly with employee representatives and trade unions
  • Supporting the development and implementation of people plans across various business units
  • Influencing HR policy and process development to meet business needs
  • Ensuring effective performance management processes
  • Managing tribunal proceedings with ACAS intervention as needed
  • Handling TUPE processes

Qualifications required include:

  • Experience advising on HR matters such as grievances, disciplinary, performance management, and absence
  • Ability to manage cultural change proactively, building trust and openness
  • Problem-solving skills, utilizing systems and expertise for the benefit of the business and employees
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Experience working in Logistics
  • CIPD qualification
