Job Title: LGV Driver
We are seeking a qualified LGV Driver to deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations according to the delivery schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
- Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of transport department operations.
- Manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
- Complete daily vehicle checks as per company procedures.
- Be responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks.
- Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned after delivery.
- Achieve fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
- Perform any other duties reasonably required.
Qualifications:
- Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence, CPC, and Tacho Card.
- Minimum of six months driving experience.
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
