Great Bear is an award-winning 3rd Party UK business of Ambient products, providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions.
We are currently recruiting for a MHE Operative to work at our site in Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday between 14:00 - 22:00.
Salary: £25,623 + £55 per week attendance bonus + £1 per hour shift allowance
This role will include lifting up to 20KG, mainly including alcohol. Reporting to the Supervisor, playing a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity and receiving of goods and despatch within the warehouse. Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Management to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend/rework accordingly.
- Assembling customer orders from the order profile.
- Ensuring the correct amount of product is picked and built, correctly and safely, onto pallets in line with warehouse procedures.
- Stretch wrapping completed orders and presenting to the marshalling area as appropriate.
- Undertaking further warehouse operative duties of marshalling, cleaning, loading, goods-in, pallet checking, as requested by the site management team.
Qualifications:
- Flexi/Bendi experience is desired.
- PPT experience is essential.
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
- 2 years previous experience in a highly active warehouse.
- Able to work to targets within a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
