We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our chilled distribution operation based in Evesham.
This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in picking stock, keeping stock moving safely, accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive and dependable team.
The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures between 2 and 4 degrees.

What you’ll be doing
- To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
- To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
- Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
- To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
- To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
- To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
- Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company's Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
- Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
What we're looking for
- Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment, the cross-dock warehouse is a +3c chilled environment
- PPT ride on experience preferred
- Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines, accuracy and quality of work are critical
- Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
- Conscientious and reliable nature
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- Overtime available for peak periods or holiday cover
