The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 Β£ per hour.
Shift: Monday-Friday starting between 14:00pm-18:00pm.
Salary: Β£***** per hour (Β£***** per hour basic + Β£1.00 per hour Nights allowance).
Overtime: Β£***** per hour + Β£1.00 per hour Nights Allowance.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the transport office at the start of shift.
- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
- Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
- Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
- Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
- Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
- Make deliveries to customers' premises, acting in a professional manner at all times.
- Immediately report any problems regarding delivery arrival times, delays or discrepancies with loads.
- Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
- Ensure regular communication with the Transport Office.
- Observe and adhere to site procedures at each delivery point.
- Ensure correct completion of a defect report as and when required.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience.
- Full C+E Entitlement along with CPC Tacho Card.
- Experience of Driving Class 1 vehicles.
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
