Our friendly transport team in Port Salford has an exciting opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis!
As a Driver Debriefer, you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.
Salary: £25,625 per annum.
Shift: 4 on 4 off, 5:30am – 5:30pm.
Key Duties of a Driver Debriefer include:
- Correctly debriefing drivers.
- Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned correctly.
- Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
- Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence, along with relevant delivery information.
- Printing all dispatch notes and replenishing dispatch paper as needed.
- Answering calls and assisting with inquiries.
- Downloading drivers’ cards/tachographs.
- Communicating all estimated times of arrival (ETAs) to Customer Services.
- Updating spreadsheets such as change-overs, run summaries, and trailer check sheets.
- Departing and completing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
- Ensuring all uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.
- Tracking all trailers.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive and adaptable attitude.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering accurate information.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
