We currently have an opportunity for a Production Line Leader at our site in Desborough. This is a key role ensuring that the Production Line maximises utilisation and the production lines to ensure safe, efficient operation, meeting daily targets and quality standards. The role is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday rotating shifts (06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00). Salary: £31,398.96.

  • Reporting and communicating all issues affecting Production effectively.
  • Ensuring that all finished products and donor stocks always maintain their traceability and in accordance with the Culina IPS Production and Quality Procedures.
  • Effectively motivating a team of people to meet production targets.
  • Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
  • Effectively maximising production efficiency, to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.
  • Adhering to and promoting best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assisting in developing a skills matrix for all production workers.
  • Assisting in training and development of new starters.
  • Monitoring, controlling and minimising waste.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
  • Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
  • Able to positively lead a team of people (temporary labour).
  • Recognises and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.
  • Displays a positive attitude to change.
  • Develops best practice and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of performance.

Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities. Experience of manufacturing machinery and processes. Preferably food or packing experience.
