We are currently seeking four additional reliable and professional 3.5 Tonne Van Drivers to join our transport operation who will be responsible for delivering chocolates on behalf of Ferrero. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, always ensuring a high standard of customer service while adhering to company policies and legal compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and working independently.
Monday to Friday, Shifts typically start between 04:00 and 08:00 am, typically 10 hours shifts depending on region of deliveries, occasional nights out required, 48 hours per week £33,696 per annum.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete approx. 4 to 12 multi-drop deliveries per day in line with planned routes and schedules to card shops and retail outlets.
- Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and transported safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all relevant documentation.
- Always provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all road traffic laws and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Full Clean UK driving licence (Category B) and the ability to handle a 3.5 tonne van.
- Previous van driving / multi drop delivery experience preferred, although full training will be provided.
- Good knowledge of local road networks.
- Ability to lift and handle goods with care.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
