Job Description Due to continued growth, ourNottingham site are now looking for aHealth & Safety Coordinator to join their team on a 12 month fixed term basis! Monday-Friday, 8:30am-16:30pm. As a Health & Safety Coordinator you willwork closely with our internal Health and Safety, Quality and compliance teams to ensure the company maintains all required certifications (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001) and is legally compliant in all its health, safety and quality activities. Key Duties of aHealth & Safety Coordinator: Ensure that the control and mitigation measures identified in the risk assessments are implemented and maintained effectively. Support the Compliance team in keeping records for appointed contractors and planned site maintenance. Ensure all necessary legislative and safety licences are maintained, including the completion of a regular programme of racking, plant and Loler inspections. Playing an active role in monthly health and safety meetings. Supporting the health and safety champions for the site. Qualifications Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, good working practices, Regulatory inspections/servicing compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 is advantageous. Experience applying Root Cause and Trend Analysis would be desirable. PC literate with a sound working knowledge of MS Office.
