Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants for an adjunct teaching position in Physics for the Fall 2026 semester.

Semester: Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and teach a 16‑week live fall course: University Physics I (PHYS290G).
  • Deliver classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 11:50 AM.
  • Use Canvas LMS for course materials and student engagement.
  • Provide assessments, feedback, and support to students.

Appointment

Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period. Instruction may be in‑classroom or online.

Compensation

$850‑$1,000 per contact hour (or $47.95‑$59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable), determined by adjunct faculty rank based on education and industry/teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in physics or related field.
  • Experience teaching or working in the field of science.
