Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; a strong academic background is required.
Position: Adjunct Faculty: Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair
Course and Schedule: The instructor will be responsible for teaching a 12-week motorcycle repair course. Schedule: Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The course introduces basic processes related to preparation and delivery of motorcycles and basic procedures involved in set-up and delivery. Students will learn and apply procedures, use reference materials, become familiar with shop practices relevant to set-up and delivery, and receive an overview of maintenance workflow from intake and service writing to delivery.
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period.
Compensation: The compensation rate is $825-$975 per contact hour (or $47.95-$59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable). Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a Motorcycle Technician Training Program.
- Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in the field of Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair.
