Great Bay Community College seeks an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our collaborative, student-centered Massage Therapy Program. This adjunct teaching opportunity is ideal for practitioners who enjoy teaching massage therapy theory alongside hands-on application, clinical reasoning, and professional practice skills. Faculty in our program support students in developing strong foundational knowledge while building confidence in technique, body mechanics, client communication, and ethical decision-making. Instruction emphasizes experiential learning, guided practice, and alignment between classroom instruction and clinical training.

Semester: Fall and/or Spring and/or Summer Semester

Compensation: $825–$975 per contact hour, determined by adjunct faculty rank based on education and relevant industry and/or teaching experience.

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience: A minimum of (5) years related teaching and/or professional work experience related to the teaching assignment shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements.
  • Licensure: Faculty must possess current NH LMT Licensure and current Liability insurance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver theory-based and hands-on/lab instruction aligned with course and program outcomes.
  • Facilitate student learning in in-person, online, Zoom and/or blended formats.
  • Demonstrate, supervise, and assess hands-on massage techniques and professional behaviors.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive, growth-oriented feedback.
  • Maintain academic and professional standards consistent with program, college, and CCSNH policies.
  • Collaborate with program faculty, clinical supervisors, and administrative staff to support student success and ensure alignment between classroom, lab, and clinic experiences.
