Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct teaching on a course‑by‑course basis. A strong academic background and residency within a New England state are required.
Semester: 2026 Spring Semester
Example responsibilities:
- Prepare and teach a 16‑week freshman practicum curriculum course
- Complete daytime observation visits in ECE settings for student observation
The instructor must be familiar with and experienced teaching in an online or blended learning environment using a variety of platforms, including Zoom.
Courses to be taught: CIS 146: Linux I
Courses you may teach: CIS 161: Fundamentals of Networking Security, IST 262: Advanced Network Security
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in‑classroom or online instruction.
Compensation: $825‑$975 per contact hour, determined based on appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
Minimum qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in the specific subject or a closely related field and at least three years’ experience in teaching, business, or industry in a related field.
- Experience: Five (5) years’ professional experience in the field of computer information systems or teaching.
