Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

Semester: Fall Semester 2025

The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of no more than 8 students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency in the medical surgical or rehabilitation setting. This position is 1 or 2 days a week (7 hours/day) for 15 weeks (typically Tuesdays or Wednesdays 7a-2p). Days/times may be negotiable depending on instructor/site availability. The timeframe is August 26-December 10, 2025.

Course: NURS111: Nursing I

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction. The compensation rate is $800-$950 per contact hour [or $47.95 - $59.45 [per clinical rate per hour if applicable]. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

The Minimum Qualifications For The Position Are As Follows:

  • Education: Candidates must meet one of the following options:
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • BS in Nursing, with a Master's degree in public health, health care administration, health promotion, or another health-related field.
  • BS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program.
  • BS in Nursing AS in Nursing and work at facility where clinical will be held.
  • Experience: At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in medical-surgical nursing or rehabilitation nursing.
  • Licensure: Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state.
