About Us
Maylandsea Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive primary school committed to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. We are excited to open our brand new dedicated Additional Resource Provision (ARP) which will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism and complex cognition and learning needs.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our ARP team. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching and learning for pupils with EHCPs.
- Plan, and adapt the curriculum to meet a wide range of needs.
- Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, therapists and external agencies.
- Create a nurturing environment that supports social, emotional and academic progress.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and carers.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience of working with pupils with SEND, ideally within a specialist or mainstream primary setting.
- Understands inclusive practice and how to remove barriers to learning.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is resilient, reflective and committed to ongoing professional development.
