Key Responsibilities
- Conduct multi-drop deliveries to retail and builder merchants throughout the London area.
- Complete between 10 and 30 pre-scheduled deliveries each day.
- Verify proof of delivery through photographs and necessary documentation.
- Perform manual handling tasks.
- Load and unload items efficiently.
- Offload vehicles at the end of your shift.
- Maintain your delivery vehicle, including cleaning and refueling as needed.
- Complete accident reports when necessary.
- Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections.
Working Hours
Our client is seeking Delivery Drivers for Monday to Friday 50 hour per week and the vans run out between 5 am – 7am no weekend work required. Apply today to discuss your schedule. As a professional driver, you will be well-versed in WTD regulations.
About You
- You must possess a full UK Driving License and have a minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience. Up to 6 points on your license may be acceptable, but we cannot accept endorsements such as DD, TT, DR, CD, or IN.
- A strong knowledge of the local area and motorway networks is essential, as navigating London can be challenging. Your role is customer-facing, so effective communication with various individuals is crucial.
- This opportunity is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in roles such as Courier, Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, Home Delivery, Driver, Transport, or Route Planning.
Experience driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes is required for this position.
You must be a UK resident and capable of commuting to the site for your shifts. Please note that we are unable to assist with visa applications or relocation.
