This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic nurse to join our practice team to undertake all aspects of Practice Nursing, including Long Term Condition Reviews, Baby Clinic, Dressing, Cytology, Travel Vaccine etc.
The post is a permanent position working part time or full time. We are seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse/Nurse Prescriber or ANP to work within an established team.
Candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- Current NMC Registration
- Experience in a Primary Care setting
- Familiarity with SystmOne medical system would be an advantage
About us: Greasbrough Medical Centre is an innovative busy, friendly practice of 4,200 patients. We operate on TPP SystmOne and general office computer systems. Our practice team is committed to providing a high standard of clinical care and an excellent service to patients. We have a strong multidisciplinary team comprising of two GPs, Practice Nurse, ANP's Clinical Pharmacist, HCA, and an experienced medical support team of administrators.
The practice nurse/Nurse prescriber or ANP will work as part of the primary healthcare team providing Personal Medical Services to the patients of the practice.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
- Cytology
- Wound care / ulcer care/Doppler
- Removal of Sutures
- New Patient Medicals/Urinalysis
- Travel Imms
- ECGs
- Asthma/Peak Flow Readings/Spirometry
