Looking for an MSP that's genuinely different? If you're tired of feeling like just another number in a large, corporate MSP, this could be exactly what you're looking for. We're working with a friendly, ambitious IT Managed Service Provider that's growing for all the right reasons. Following several major client wins and recently recognised as one of the UK's up-and-coming MSPs, they're building a close-knit technical team where engineers are trusted, supported and given the opportunity to develop. This is a business where people enjoy coming to work - you won't be simply measured on the number of tickets you close.
This role would suit an experienced IT Support Engineer who has already built a solid foundation within an MSP or IT support environment and is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll already have exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure and networking, but be looking for an opportunity where you can work on larger infrastructure projects, develop your cloud skills and grow alongside a business that's investing in both its people and its technology.
You'll get hands‑on with Azure, Microsoft 365, networking and infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced engineers while gaining exposure to migrations, cloud deployments and customer rollouts. As the business continues to grow, so will your opportunities.
About You:- Experience working within an MSP (Managed Service Provider).

- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune.
- Good networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs and switching.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer‑facing skills.

- Relaxed, supportive team culture.
- Growing MSP where your voice is heard.
- Exciting Azure, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure projects.
- Genuine career progression as the business expands.

How to prepare for a job interview at Grconsulting
✨Brush Up on Your Technical Skills
For an IT consulting role, be ready to demonstrate your technical prowess. You might face questions on systems integration, cloud technologies, or even troubleshooting specific software. If you have experience with tools like AWS, Azure, or even specific programming languages, make sure you can talk about them fluently.
✨Showcase Your Problem-Solving Approach
IT consulting is all about solving problems for clients. Think about how you can illustrate your approach to a past challenge using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). It's a great way to show how you tackle complex issues and come up with effective solutions.
✨Know the Business Impact of IT Solutions

Prep examples that highlight how your tech contributions improved efficiency or reduced costs for past clients or projects.
✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions
Since IT consulting often involves teamwork and client interactions, expect behavioural questions that assess your interpersonal skills. Be prepared with examples that demonstrate your adaptability, communication skills, and how you handle client feedback. Before the interview, think of situations where you worked closely with clients to create effective IT strategies or changes.
