    • Ensure all stock is correctly labelled and stored across chilled, frozen and dry storage areas.
    • Maintain accurate stock records using Foodbuy and support daily ordering processes.
    • Assist with monthly stock takes and inventory management activities.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
    • Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and safe working practices.
    • Ensure chemicals are stored and used correctly in accordance with COSHH regulations.
    • Maintain clean, hygienic and fully stocked handwash stations.
    • Support the management of chemical and disposable stock levels.
    • Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
    • Hold or be willing to obtain a Level 2 Food Safety qualification.
  • Operational Support
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen, production and dispatch teams to support daily operations.
    • Pick, prepare and distribute ingredients and stock to production sections as required.
    • Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients ahead of production schedules.
    • Support dispatch activities, including order picking, packing and preparation for delivery.
    • Assist with deliveries when required.
    • Monitor stock levels across food, packaging, disposables and equipment storage areas.
    • Attend training sessions and team meetings.
    • Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving stock.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
