Role Summary This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory control of materials and finished goods while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and service.

The Warehouse Manager will drive continuous improvement, optimise warehouse processes, and lead a high‑performing team to support production and customer delivery requirements.

Key areas of responsibility Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, including supervisors, FLT drivers, and operatives.

Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.

Set daily priorities and allocate resources to support production and logistics plans.

Foster a positive, safety‑first, and high‑performance team culture.

Oversee daily warehouse activities including goods-in, goods-out, material replenishment, and storage.

Ensure efficient loading/unloading of vehicles and timely dispatch of finished goods.

Maintain accurate stock control processes, including cycle counts and annual stocktakes.

Implement and maintain 5S and lean practices to ensure an organised, efficient warehouse.

Manage warehouse layout, racking, space utilisation, and material flow.

Maintain accurate inventory levels and investigate discrepancies promptly.

Work closely with production and material planners to ensure materials availability.

Ensure accurate use of ERP systems.
