Who we’re looking for:
The Inside Sales Representative here at Graylog will be a critical member of our team focusing on the bridge between marketing-created leads, as well as actively engaging in outbound prospecting to identify and nurture new business opportunities.
As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibilities will be to engage, develop, qualify, and expand our customer base regarding their Centralized Log Management, Security Information and Event Management, or API Security projects to increase sales pipeline. By responding to inbound contact requests with urgency, care, and diligence and conducting targeted, personalised, and relevant outbound prospecting with thoughtful personalised communications will ensure we maintain our strong positive brand image while maximising sales opportunities.
The goal of your work is to build early-stage relationships with software evaluators that ultimately turns into new business. You will be the first point of contact with our customers in the sales process. This position requires the need to be proactive, a desire to learn how to become a great salesperson, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to get others excited about using our tools to improve their business results.
You will learn the ins-and-outs of both enterprise software Marketing and Sales processes, with a chance to grow your career along either line. The Inside Sales Representative will report to our Vice President & Managing Director, EMEA.
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Qualify and develop inbound leads that result in pipeline opportunities (50% conversion rate).
- Build strategic business opportunities through outreach efforts (8-12 per month).
- Immerse yourself within the world of CLM, SIEM, API Security, and build your knowledge base to gain credibility and interest when positioning Graylog to our customers.
- Build market intelligence and foster client relationships through personalised, timely, and relevant messaging.
- Identify projects and strategic initiatives for assigned accounts, why the initiative/project is a priority now, and share how Graylog can meet the business and technical needs.
- Analyse assigned top 10 accounts to identify key contacts.
