Currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager, reporting to our General Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring the effective and smooth running of our Supply Chain to ensure that materials are in the right place at the right time, of the right quality and are the right price.
We are looking for someone pro-active, with great experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities in this role are as follows:
- Management of the Warehouse and Purchasing Teams
- Coordination of the order cycle ensuring that orders are prioritised correctly and processed on time
- Contributing towards OTIF – right materials, right place, right time.
- Deal with delivery issues along with the Warehouse Team
- Extract and analyse daily performance reports, evaluating performance and quality of both internal and third party logistics suppliers
- Present findings to SMT and develop/implement plans for performance improvements
- Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders
- Develop new or alternate supply strategies
- Identify, plan and manage logistics projects that will improve efficiency, resilience and performance
- Planning and analysing budgets and expenditure
- Reporting of key metrics into group (worldfavor)
- Resolving complaints and issues regarding the supply chain
- Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers (active supplier management)
