Trainee Accountant: Graduate Role

Our offices are located near the Titanic Quarter in Belfast with parking nearby. The team isvery dynamicwith a strong work ethic. The partners encourage and promote all team members to continually develop to enable a good work environment and ensure that work/life culture is maintained. Key elements of this rolewill include;

• Communicating with clients via the telephone, email and face to face on a regular basis
• Preparation of accounts and assisting with corporation and individual tax returns
• Bookkeeping and drafting of VAT returns
• Potential to be involved in transactional work i.e M&A Complex Tax advice
• Ad hoc project work and support for other areas of the business

Skills Required

We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of numbers and high levels of comprehension who is determined to build a career as a Qualified Accountant.

• GCSE/A-level/Degree qualification, ideally in a numerate subject or discipline demonstrating your analytical skills
• Strong numerical ability
• Analytical skills and critical thinking
• Proficient IT skills in MS Office and Excel
• Confident in communication
• Relevant experience in a practice environment highly desirable
